I was out shopping for a purse and I stumbled upon quite a find for a whopping 50 cents. I insisted the lady take a dollar for it. Found at this church owned thriftstore I cant remember the name of in Vallejo.

( Find out what is it under the cut. )

I love books, and when it comes to thrifting books, I can be pretty indiscriminate in my selections. Weaknesses include: books about love, books by Asian/Asian-American authors (+ poor quality, hilarious books written by white authors about various Asian topics / white people's adventures in 'the exotic Far East!'), books about dinosaurs, robots, or with 'heart' in the title, books by Middle Eastern authors, high quality and/or vintage children's books, crappy pulpy young adult fiction, books with ridiculous premises, old books, and psychology-related books. Someday I hope to have a decent library or at least a system of bookshelves to house my collection, but until then, most of what I bring home goes in milk crates - somewhat depressing. That doesn't stop me from amassing a ton of (around 2,000) books.
( About forty, all purchased over the past month or so, ranging from 10¢ at my local library to $1.00 at Goodwill. )
